• Toa Supershield Extrapolyurethane #GOLD is a one pack moisture cured polyurethane, suitable for interior wood floor that some time exposed to sunlight. This product provides high film build and high gloss film like diamond together with long life prevention of bacteria on the film. The properties of this product are excellent scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and adhesion, also good impact resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance.
• Suitable for all interior woodworks such as parquet, indoor gymnasium and wooden furniture

• Old surface

• • The surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, wax, salt, old paint and other contaminants.
• New surface
  • 1. Use TOA abrasive paper no. 240 – 320 to sand the wood surface until smooth

• • 2. Fill all wood crack and hole by filler.
  • 3. Sand again until the smooth surface is obtained.
  • 4. Clean the surface until no dust remain.

• Primer
  • 1. Apply by brush with TOA Wood Preservative 1 coat. (Recoatable time is at least 30 minutes)

• • 2. Apply by brush with TOA Wood Primer #T-2000 1 coat. (Recoatable time is at least 1 hour)
• Topcoat
  • 1. Mixing ratios between Supershield Extrapolyurethane #GOLD and TOA Polyurethane Thinner #41 are 10:3 for first coat and 10:1 for second and third coat, respectively.
  • 2. Apply by brush with Supershield Extrapolyurethane #GOLD at least 3 coats. (Recoatable time is at least 6 hours)
  • 3. Before topcoat any layer, TOA abrasive paper no. 320 – 400 are recommended to sand the surface which provide good intercoat adhesion and smooth the surface.

• The temperature of the substrate should be minimum 10 ํC and at least 3 ํC above the dew point of the air, temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation is required in confined areas to ensure correct drying.
